SFC Advanced Football Programme - By Invitation
Our Selection Process
Players are selected to attend the SFC Advanced Programme by two routes:
- Players who currently attend SFC Squad coaching and are excelling within their group will be identified by their coach and invited to attend the Advanced Programme.
- Players who do not currently attend SFC can request a FREE taster at a Squad coaching session. If the SFC squad coach believes that the player is of high enough ability to be coached within the Advanced Programme they will be invited to attend an SFC Advanced session on a trial basis. The trial session will be charged at the single session rate of £9 (subject to spaces being available).

SFC Advanced Syllabus
Our SFC ADVANCED COACHING SYLLABUS has been developed by highly qualified UEFA Licensed coaches with years of experience working with young players within different levels of the game.
Each week players are coached on a Topic of the Week. Our Advanced football learning is categorised into Key Principles, and throughout our Advanced learning journey our players will be working to learn topics which relate to these key principles.
Our session structure is then designed around this, ensuring all relevant Technical and Tactical areas linking to the topic are learnt and developed throughout the session. Our objective is to create composed and effective players on the ball.
Our SFC Advanced topics progress each week to ensure that players are introduced to all of the age appropriate coaching essentials, ensuring they develop fundamental and comprehensive skills that will take them to the next level.

Games Programme: We aim to given players on our Advanced programme the opportunity to test their newly acquired technical and tactical skills in occasional matches during the season, subject to the availability of a suitable opposition team.
